Refund Policy

We want you to buy with confidence. Every report is backed by our delivery guarantee: if a report can't be delivered, comes back with no data for your VIN, or you're charged in error, you get your money back. This page sets out exactly when refunds apply, so there are no surprises.

Our guarantee

We guarantee delivery of your report. You're entitled to a full refund within 30 days of purchase if:

  • the report could not be delivered due to a technical error
  • the report returned no data or records for your VIN
  • you were charged more than once for the same report
  • you purchased the wrong report type and contact us before opening the report.

Vehicle history data is sourced from third-party datasets and recorded events. A report that is correctly delivered with the available data has been fulfilled, even where a particular dataset has limited coverage for a given VIN.

What is not refundable

Because reports are digital products generated and delivered instantly, refunds are not available for change-of-mind once a report has been generated and opened, or because a correctly delivered report did not include a specific data point that the report type does not cover (for example, expecting wholesale auction prices from a vehicle-history report). If you're unsure which report contains the data you need, contact us before buying and we'll point you to the right one.

How to request a refund

Send a message to support with:

  • Your transaction id (or email used at checkout)
  • The VIN you checked
  • The report type (CARFAX / AutoCheck / Copart / Manheim / IAAI)
  • A short description of the issue

Fair use and abuse prevention

We honor the guarantee in good faith. We may refuse refunds in cases of clear abuse or fraud (for example, repeated refund requests across many purchases with no legitimate issue).
